About TB Care
India has the world's highest incidence of TB, with 2.8 million cases annually, and accounts for more than a quarter of the global TB burden. India also has the largest burden of multi-drug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) among all countries, with almost 150,000 cases every year. TB claims over 435,000 Indian lives each year, which places TB among the top ten causes of death in the country .
One of the important aspects of managing TB is screening.
ViewZen has configured a TB screening app on its core platforms that can be used for door to door screening of households by the health workers. Household and its members are registered on the App, screening details are captured and the positive cases are tracked and monitored. This App is integrated with our Analytics platform to identify clusters, screening efficiency and effectiveness and also to better monitoring and tracking of the positive cases.

Separate screening for Adults and Children. Household members of a positive case can be traced and further screened

Positive cases can be monitored by health workers for ensuring adherence to TB Medication
Multiple Screenings
App can be used for multiple screenings. Each previous screening result is available for reference
Geo-tagging
Option available to geo-tag a household member. Although registration is done once, registration details can be updated anytime
Integration with other Systems
TB Care can be integrated with other entities e.g. Labs and other applications / registries being used for monitoring TB Positive cases
Monitoring and Tracking
Clusters can be identified for community screenings and contacts of positive cases can be placed under TPT
